Course Description
A study of American history from the election of Jefferson/Lewis & Clark; the Civil War and reconstruction of the South to the present, including post-Civil War conflict; Western expansion; agricultural, and industrial development; progressive reform and the New Deal; domestic and foreign policies since World War II; the struggle between Democracy and Communism focusing on east Asia (Korea/Vietnam); the United States involvement in the Middle East.
